Medieval Fork and Knife set with Bone Handle

$59.95 AUD
Availability: 18 in stock

Want to cut up your own food at the feasting table? Better get a knife! This knife and fork set is just right for your feasting kit and has a bone handle that is securely riveted on.

The knife measures 24cm and the blade is 2.6cm at the widest point. The fork measures 23cm in length.

The use of forks in Western and Northan Europe fell out of use after the Roman period and returned to use in the 15th century in Italy. Forks for cooking and serving remained in use, however, the use of personal table forks for cutlery appears to have not been utilised.

Forks were re-introduced to Europe in the 15th century Italy via trade and contact with Byzantium and spread outward to the rest of Europe by the 16th century.

Great for use around the encampment at medieval reenactment, LARP and SCA events or for Renaissance themed weddings.

Made from stainless steel with a full tang.

Let the feast begin!

Made by Lord of Battles
