Wax tablets have been in use since antiquity with the earliest known tablet found in a shipwreck at Uluburun from 1306 B. C.

Have you ever been at an event and needed to make a note of the phone number of that special person you just met? Well now you can with this wooden wax tablet. Wax tablets have been in use since antiquity with the earliest known tablet found in a shipwreck at Uluburun from 1306 B. C.

Wax books were popular throughout the Roman, Viking, Middle Ages and Renaissance era as paper was expensive and a wax book could be used many times.

Simply take the brass pen stylus (included in the kit) and use the flat side to smooth or flatten the wax.

The tablet measures 17.5cm in height by 10cm wide.
