Separate petticoats or skirts came into fashion in Europe in the renissance and remained in use through to modern times. 

This skirt is full length. It consists of a sturdy waistband onto which the skirt is gathered. The waistband has a draw-string tie closure, meaning you can adjust it to perfectly fit your waist measurement. It is made from sturdy green 100% natural cotton fabric. Unlike synthetic fibers, natural fibers breath and keep you cooler, which makes this skirt perfect for warm events. 

All seams are finished and the skirt hem is finished with a double-fold hem. All stitching has been done on the machine, however due to the colour of the thread and fabric, the machine stitching is not very noticeable. 

Care instructions: Machine wash at 40C. Warm iron. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
