Stainless Steel Cloak Clasp With Spiral Ends

A decorative brooch or clasp perfect for closing cloaks, robes and gowns.

The pin measures approximately 10cm long. The clasp has an internal diameter of 6.5cm, external of 7.5cm. It is made from stainless steel, making it highly resistant to corrosion and allowing it to last for years to come, event after event. 

This is a penannular style which is very easy to use. Pierce the cloth where you want your fibula to hold your cloak, then pass the pin between the ends of the ring. Rotate the ring to 90 degrees under the pin tip. Once you let it go, the fabric presses the pin on the ring and keeps the fibula closed.

This style is suitable for Viking, Celtic, Anglo- Saxon and medieval costuming and clothing.
