Square Roman Polished Shield Boss 16 Gauge

Make your own Roman scutum legionary shield with this polished 16 gauge steel boss. When mounted on a shield a boss or umbo protects the hand of the fighter. The boss measures 21.6cm (8.5") square by 6cm (2.4") high and has 4 holes to mount the boss onto your shield. The raised section at the widest point is 14cm in diameter. The boss is large enough to fit a hand wearing a glove when mounted.
