Polish Hussars Helm
This helm is a reproduction of a Polish hussar helmet from the Museum of the Polish Army in Warsaw (Shown in last photo). The hussars were a form of European shock cavalry fielded between the 16th to 18th century. Famous for their large formation cavalry charges and elaborate feather wings.
This helm is made from 16 gauge mild steel and the accents are made from brass.
The face plate can be adjusted up and down to better fit the wearer.
The helm comes complete with an adjustable leather liner and chin strap with buckle and has an internal circumference of 66cm which enables the wearer to also fit a suitable padded coif or cap. The interior of the helm is blackened to improve corrosion resistance.
Price includes helmet only. Full Hussar cavalry armour harness including helm, gorget, spaulders, vambraces, leg and cuirass showed is available separately and not included.
