Hourglass Del Bargello Gauntlets Blackened
These gauntlets feature brass accents with an acorn motif and are based on an original artefact held in the Museo Nazionale del Bargello, Florence. The gauntlets include a leather glove and are made from 16 gauge steel. These functional gauntlets have a wide cuff and offer excellent freedom of movement.
It is believed that the original gauntlets were made in Milan Italy between 1370-1400.
Consequently, these gauntlets are most suitable for a late 14th to early 15th century Medieval re-enactment armour harnesses.
Available in a polished or blacked finish.
