Harold Godwinson Anglo-Saxon Penny Coin (1066)
This coin is a reproduction of a penny coin minted by Harold Godwinson who was the last crowned Anglo-Saxon king of England. This coin was minted in 1066 in the same year as the Norman invasion of Europe were king Harold was killed in the battle of hastings.
These coins are hand stamped by a passionate Medieval reenactor who performs historical coin minting demonstrations. As each coin is hand stamped small variations may exist adding to the hand made character of the coins.
Made from high quality pewter.
Each coin measures 20mm in diameter.
