This coin is a reproduction of a coin minted by Frederick the IV King of Sicily in the 14th century. Minted between 1355 to 1377 this style of coin is called a Pierreale.

The face of the coin shows a crowned rising eagle looking to the right. The reverse of the coin features a shield with a coat of arms.

These coins are hand-stamped by a passionate reenactor who performs historical coin minting demonstrations. As each coin is hand stamped small variations may exist adding to the hand made character of the coins.
