Don't smuggle a lighter or matches under your surcoat or apron at your next reenactment event. Strike the flint to start your fire the old fashioned way. Show the public how it was done back then. " And yes this is a real fire". Also useful to light the match cord for your musket or firing a canon.

Blacksmith made and hand forged from high-carbon steel the striker measures approximately 8.5cm in length by 3.5cm in height.

Based on four extant Viking grave finds at Birka in Sweden (139, 925, 872 and 727). The original artefact was most likely made between the eighth to tenth century (approximately 750 to 975).

This striker is suitable for a smaller size hand.

The striker metal thickness is between approximately 6.5mm and 7mm.
