This buckle is a reproduction of a 17^th to 18^th century oval annual buckle. The buckle features a decorative floral edge design. The buckle is made from 100% brass and has an antiqued finish. Buckles of this style and decoration are most suitable for English and Scottish Stuart (Jacobean / Restoration era) to Early Georgian era clothing and costume between approximately 1650 to 1720
