Almoravid Half Dirhem Arabic Coin (1143 - 1145)

This half dirhem is a reproduction of a Medieval Almoravid dynasty coin. The Almoravid dynasty was an Arab Berber Muslim dynasty centered in Morocco which established an empire in the 11th century that stretched over North Africa

These coins are hand stamped by a passionate Medieval reenactor who performs historical coin minting demonstrations. As each coin is hand stamped small variations may exist adding to the hand made character of the coins.

Made from high quality pewter.

Each coin measures 20mm in diameter.
