This strap end is a reproduction of an English strap end artefact found in London. This decorative strap end features a quarter foil top and acorn with thatched plate. Suitable for belts ends 15mm wide.

The end is made from solid brass and includes two brass rivets.

The strapend can be seen on page 152 of the book Dress Accessories 1150-1450 Medieval Finds From Excavations in London by Egan and Pritchard and is currently part of the Museum of London collection.

Please note, when selecting a matching  buckle the round centre on this strap end is 20mm wide. The stapend measures 5.3cm in length bu 20mm in width.
