14th century Knight's Bascinet (16 Gauge)

$244.95 AUD
Availability: 1 in stock

Make your own Medieval experience and complete your 14th century armour harness with this reproduction bascinet forged from 16 gauge steel.

This interpretation is inspired by several different sources, including a 1407-1408 painting by Spinello Aretino, the fresco in the Affresco camera Pinta in Spoleto, Italy, and the manuscript “La prima deca” by Tito Livio dated circa 1373.

The helm has a circumference of 68 cm which enables the wearer to also fit a suitable padded coif or cap.

The helmet also has a lining suspension that can be adjusted to better fit the wearer. The interior of the helm is blackened to improve corrosion resistance.

Suitable for 14th century Medieval impressions. Please check the gauge required by your group for helms, for reenactment we recommend our thicker 14 gauge helms.

Sword, armour, clothing and other props shown in photos is not included.
