Based on an English archaeological find from the 14th century, this reproduction belt is most suitable for clothing and costume between 1360 -1420. Made from 3.5mm thick red vegetable tan leather, the belt measures 179cm in length with a strap width of 16mm. The belt features 26 rossette mounts, a Lyre buckle and strap end with monogram and lozenge shaped box with flower design.
All fittings are made from 100% brass and securely peened over a washer to ensure the best durability.
Make Your Own Medieval believes in sustainable environmental practices and we are actively moving away from chrome tanned leather to veg tan leather products which are less damaging to the environment. Vegetable tan leather also has a higher durability, strength and better colour and tone than chrome tanned leather.
Great for Medieval and Renaissance historical re-enactment, SCA and LARP clothing and costume.
