Bevor with back plate and adjustable face (15th century)

Complete your 15th century Milanese or Gothic plate armour harness with this adjustable bevor / gorget forged from 16 gauge steel.

Designed to protect the neck, lower face and chin the bevor was worn in conjunction with a sallet or other open face helmet. The bevor face is adjustable and can be worn up for complete protection of the neck and lower part of the face, or down to expose the mouth. The bevor has a leather strap on either side to attach other pieces of armour and the adjustable face plate has a safety latch.

Suitable for a mid to late 15th century persona at your next Tudor, Medieval or Renaissance re-enactment, LARP, SCA or Living History event.
