Valkyrie from Hårby Bronze Reproduction

$23.95
Availability: 20 in stock

This Viking Valkyrie pendant is a finely crafted bronze replica of an extraordinary 9th-century artifact discovered near the village of Hårby in southwest Funen, Denmark. The original piece, dating to around A.D. 800

The figure is thought to represent a Valkyrie, who in Norse mythology are maidens who assist Odin, the Norse god of war, by accompanying fallen warriors to Valhalla to fight at Ragnarok. Other possibilities are a Norse shield maiden, the goddess Freya or a depiction of a real woman.

The Lord of Battles Viking Valkyrie pendant captures every intricate detail: the flowing patterned dress, the poised stance, and a Viking sword held alongside a warrior’s shield. Forged using the ancient lost-wax casting method, this pendant exudes both historical authenticity and artisanal craftsmanship.

Designed for wear, it comes with a 2 mm thick adjustable leather cord, allowing it to rest comfortably at your preferred length. Whether worn as a statement of Norse heritage or kept as a collector’s piece, this Viking Valkyrie pendant is a timeless tribute to Viking legend and artistry.

The Valkyrie from Hårby artefact is held by the National Museum of Denmark.

Available in an antiqued or polished finish.
