In Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is a giant ash tree that cradles the nine realms of the cosmos. Located in Asgard, the realm of the gods, the branches and roots of Yggdrasil connects and supports all of creation. The sacred tree is the tree of life, evergreen, connecting heaven and earth representing the cycle of birth, growth, death, and rebirth.

The tree of life is connected with the destiny of the cosmos, the creator of the world and observer of all of creation. Yggdrasil represents the interconnectedness of the world of gods, humans, and nature.  After the battle of Ragnarok almost all beings will perish, and the cosmos will be reborn. Yggdrasil will survive and the remaining survivors hiding in the Yggdrasil as well as the few gods who survive will emerge to start the new cycle of existence.

The journal is 12.7cm wide 17.7cm tall and 3cm in thickness.
