This long handle cooking pan is a reproduction of an original artefact found in the Oseberg (Osebergskipet ) Viking ship burial in Norway. The Oseberg burial mound contained numerous cooking tools and feasting gear including a cooking pot or cauldron and a three leg stand (Both available separately) Currently on display in the Viking Ship Museum at Oslo, Norway the original pan is estimated to be from the 9th century. A photo of the original archaeological find is shown in the last photo below.

This forged metal cooking pan with long handle is an essential item for your next Medieval, Viking or dark ages re-enactment camping event to keep the group well feed. Very handy for cooking quick meals like breakfast. The pan (cooking area) measure 20cm in diameter and the total length of the pan is 76cm in length.
