Suitable for a wide variety of historical periods from the 6th to 12th century. A popular helm with Viking, crusade and Norman era reenactment and Living history groups.
The helmet also has a leather lining suspension that can be adjusted to better fit the wearer.
The helm has a circumference of 68cm which enables the wearer to also fit a suitable padded chain mail coif, or padded cap. The interior of the helm is also blackened to improve corrosion resistance.
