A steel buckler shield made from 16 gauge thick steel with a rolled edge for extra durability. The back of the buckler has a handle which is securely riveted to the shield and covered with wood. The buckler has a domed lenticular / convex shape to help deflect blows.
The buckler measures 30.5cm in diameter. The back of the shield has been blackened to improve corrosion resistance.
Suitable for historical combat re-enactment, LARP and HEMA
