This Medieval reproduction leather belt with solid brass buckle is handmade from 3.5mm thick sturdy & attractive genuine full-grain leather.
Double looped belt buckles or spectacle buckles were common between the mid 14th century to late 17th century. During the 15th and 16th centuries spectacle buckles rose in popularity and gradually replaced single loop buckles. This style oval bilobed buckle with pointed loops is most appropriate for 15th century clothing.
