Tudor Rose Belt Mount (1485 – 1603)

The Tudor rose emblem is a heraldic emblem from England named after the house of Tudor, which in the late 15th century united the House of York and Lancaster. To symbolically combine the joining of the two houses Henry VII adopted the tudor rose symbol conjoining the emblem of the house of Lancaster, a red or gold rose, with the white rose emblem of the House of York.

This belt mount is made from brass and highly polished for extra shine.   

Each mount measures 2cm by 2cm in size and has a post on the back which is peened to attach the mount to a belt strap.

Suitable for late 15th century Medieval to early 17th-century renaissance Elizabethan clothing impressions.
