Spangenhelm with Attached Camail (14 Gauge)

Make your own Viking or Crusader experience and complete your armour harness with this reproduction Spangenhelm helm forged from 14 gauge steel.

Suitable for a wide variety of historical re-enactment periods from the late Viking to Norman/Crusades era. The helm has an attached butted Camail (mail aventail) to provide better protection to side and back the neck during combat. The helmet also has an adjustable leather lining suspension with adjustable strap and buckle to better fit the wearer.

The helm has a circumference of 68cm which enables the wearer to also fit a suitable padded chain mail coif or padded cap. The interior of the helm is also blackened to improve corrosion resistance.
