This 1/8 dirhem is a reproduction of a Marinid dynasty coin. The Marinid dynasty was a Berber Muslim dynasty centered in Morocco that stretched over North Africa and Southern Spain.

This style was minted in the 14th century in Southern Spain.

These coins are hand stamped by a passionate Medieval reenactor who performs historical coin minting demonstrations. As each coin is hand stamped small variations may exist adding to the hand made character of the coins.

Made from high quality nugold jewellers brass sheet. Nugold has a higher copper content that standard brass giving it its rich yellow gold colour.

Each coin measures 13mm in diameter.
