1350 - 1700 Armour Buckle Antiqued- 13mm Strap Width

Buckle based on original London find, C1350-1400. Suitable for straps 13mm wide. This style of buckle is Ideal for use with leather straps on medieval and renaissance armour due to the thickness of the buckle wall. 

This buckle is made from brass with an antiqued finish.

Double looped buckles or spectacle buckles such as this type were common between the mid 14^th century to late 17^th century.
