Celtic Shield Knot Drinking Horn

Be the envy of your friends with this drinking horn made from cow horn. 

This drinking horn has a decorative brass trim with a woven Celtic motif and brass end. The horn also has a carved Celtic Shield Knot design.

Shield knots come in various forms, from simple to more complicated, but are similar in their overall shield-shape and consisting of four quadrants. The knots symbolises protection and can be used for protection in battle, to ward of evil spirits or sickness.

This horn is made by Lord of Battles who are an official supplier of the Game of Thrones and The Last Kingdom TV series and crafted the drinking horns and tankards shown in these series.

The horn shown is an example, of the style of horn. Due to both the natural variations in horns and the handmade quality, each horn is unique in its curvature and colour tone and maybe a mixture of yellow, brown, white, cream, black and clear in colour.

Each horn is smoothly polished and finished with a water proof food safe epoxy.
