14th - 15th Century Kidney Bag Fitting large.
This mount is a reproduction of a bag fitting used in the late Middle Ages on kidney style bags and pouches. These fittings were always mounted in pairs on either side of the kidney shape.
This mount is 7.4cm by 4.4cm in size. The back of the mount has three 5mm posts to attach the mount.
Made from brass with an antiqued finish.
