Calling horns were used during the dark ages and medieval period during hunting, war, travel and seafaring as a means of communication.

This blowing horn has a mouthpiece to make the blowing easier and also reduce moisture and the taste of the horn. The mouthpiece is designed to produce a loud sound reminiscent of a kids party horn. Compared to traditional blowing horns the mouth piece makes this horn very easy to use and does not require any training or practice to use.
