Bone Sewing Awl

Are you building a historic sewing kit? This awl is made from real bone and is a great authentic item to include. Awls can be used to make hand-bound eyelets. Push the awl through the fabric until the desired hole size is made then overcast or buttonhole stitch around. Much more sturdy than cutting holes in the cloth.

Each awl measures approximately 100mm in length and 11mm in width.

Great for Medieval and Viking historical reenactment crafting displays.
