The lorica hamata was a type of mail armour used by Roman soldiers for over 6 centuries between the 3rd century BC to 4th century AD. The Romans most likely developed this style of armour from contact with the Celts during the 3rd century BC.

The shirt is made from 7mm size rings which are made from 18g steel. The rings are assembled in a 4 in 1 pattern with alternating solid rings for extra durability.  Please note the natural finish shown in photographs is for demonstration only, the item you will receive has a blackened finish.

For the best fit, please ensure you are wearing all protective clothing and padding before taking measurements.

This product is manufactured by Lord of Battles who support fair working conditions and equal employment opportunities for women.
