Brass Arrow Hunting Nock
Make your own 9th century Viking arrow reproduction with this brass arrow nock which is inserted into the arrow shaft. Archaeological finds of brass arrow nocks are rare. The cost to produce a bass nock would suggest that they were not used during warfare and were most likely used by the wealthy for hunting. During the Viking period brass nocks have been found at a Hedeby boat grave site as well as at Oldenburg in Germany.
The nock has a pointed shaft which is 15mm in length. The total length of the nock is 23mm. The width of the nock is 8mm.
To ensure the safe use of this product we recommend that only experienced archers / professionals install this nock. Please also check all arrows for cracking or loose nocks before use.
